LET'S TALK ABOUT GRATITUDE

Thanksgiving is tomorrow so this is definitely timely but it's also something that I've been thinking about a lot over the past year.

It has been a rough year, I'm not going to lie. It's been full of change, some loss, some acceptance and some re-framing expectations at how I look at things.  But, really when I think about it, I can't think of anything that should make me ungrateful.  I have a great husband, a healthy child, good working relationships, some great friends and a supportive family.  What was I unhappy about in the first place?  Oh, it was that one thing.....we had a personal loss earlier this year and it has taken me awhile to accept it and be hopeful for things to come.  Comparison is the death of happiness, they say.  But I'm there and know that what will be will be, and if I dwell on the unfairness of it all I am just holding myself back.

If you believe the law of attraction, it says what you put out there and think about, will return.  If you are having happy, thankful and appreciative thoughts, you will attract those things towards you.  But if you are filled with anger, hate and negative thoughts then that is what will come your way.

So, why don't we all practice a little gratitude through this holiday season and moving forward.  Everyone has problems, but we all have so much to be thankful for.
